These two tiny words put together, makes a lot of sense. It poses a bigger question than anyone could even imagine. It’s difficult, at least for me, to take a stand on which aspect to write. I will start by stating an excerpt from the conversation between Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Swami Vivekananda. These two people were the greatest spiritual leaders of the modern society. Once Swami Vivekananda asked Shri Ramakrishna – “What surprises you about people?” to which he replied – “When they suffer they ask Why me? but when they prosper, they never ask Why me?”. This answer made me ponder over the nature of humans. People are generally selfish. They don’t care about anything if the situation is favorable to them. On the other hand, if something goes wrong they start blaming whomsoever possible. True character of an individual is revealed only during adversity.
Sometimes even I fall prey to this question. When I am literally down, unmotivated, this question pops up in my mind. Later I realize that I never ask this question when my spirits are high. Rather asking Why me, we should be grateful that HE chose us over so many others. HE chooses us to make us impregnable; to fight our demons and come out victorious. We should gracefully accept whatever comes our way and try to learn from the experiences which we attain. We should thank HIM for putting us in difficult situations since it develops our character and makes us strong. So I feel, rather asking WHY ME? we should ask WHAT FOR?
Have you ever tried to stay in the wild? Did you listen to the rattling of the trees? Ever experienced the darkness of the forest? I have. Honestly, it’s so intriguing that you lose sense of everything. Being in the wild brings you close to the creator and its creation. It brings immense joy in our lives and binds us to admire the serenity of the place.
I was fortunate enough to wander in the wild, not just once but on two occasions. I stayed in the wild for three days on both instance. It was one of the most amazing feeling that I experienced in my life. It brought me closer to the almighty and made me realize the importance of solitude.
The feelings were inexpressible. I was overwhelmed by the serenity of the surroundings. The rattling of the trees, the chirping of the birds, the hissing winds, made me drown in the tranquility of the place. During the night, these sounds freaked the hell out of me. The night was extremely alluring, making it even more addictive. I was fortunate enough that I didn’t encounter any wild animals, otherwise I would not be in a position to share my experience. The exposure to the wild helped me to develop a deep insight into the vastness of nature and its beauty.
P.S: Planning for the next trip into the wilderness.

The last quote is my personal favorite.
Life is so uncertain. You never know what it has in store for you. Some days you are so filled with energy, enjoying life to the fullest while on some days you are left on the mercy of others. In one moment you feel on the top of the world and in the next you feel you don’t even exist. Life is so full of uncertainties and expecting things to happen on its own reveals one’s foolish attitude. People realize the importance of life once an adversity affects them. Sitting on the hospital bed makes you realize the utmost importance of being fit. You can’t do anything except watching your wired body and counting the droplets entering into it. There is no one to give you company except a few close ones who pay visit for sometime. The hospital bed has seen so many stories that even a book won’t be able to accommodate it. It’s one of the most depressing place to be in. All sorts of creepy thoughts enter your mind making you more vulnerable. It’s a phase most people don’t want to but have to pass through. As this phase passes by, a new ray of light welcomes you. It’s like the first ray of sunlight which makes you understand the importance of the day ahead. It gives you hope; it makes you believe to have faith in HIM and fight for the cause.
“Uncertainties are bewildering but it adds spice to life.”
She is mystery, covered in so many layers,
I don’t know what are her fears.
Promise, I will always be there,
To make sure you are never in tears.
She is just so strong and independent,
It makes me admire her intent.
Her demeanor is so cool,
It makes me feel like a fool.
She is a star hidden from everyone’s eyes,
In her presence time flies.
I hope I could stop time,
So that I can make everything fine.
Her presence makes my heart skip a beat,
Only she has the power to make me complete.
Do you believe in GOD? If the answer is yes, can you have blind faith in HIM? Did you ever try to find the reason behind the events happening in your life? It will be quite interesting to know why a particular event takes place. Personally in my opinion, I believe everything happens for a reason. The reason may be unknown creating chaos in one’s life. Searching for the reason is yet another daunting task. Sometimes it can even take several years, but once the veil is unmasked, things become pretty clear. I feel knowing the reasons behind the events occurring in one’s life can reduce stress levels and helps in analyzing the situation in a more mature way. Also, I feel that knowing the reasons helps you to understand the ways and patterns of God’s judgement. Sometimes it may happen that we are unable to figure out the reason and that’s where the turmoil starts, but we should trust and have faith in the almighty and leave it to HIM. He will take care of everything and will ensure the welfare of humanity.
“Where reason fails with all her powers, there faith prevails, and love adores.”
